FREE Intro to Shadow Yoga
Learn and experience the Shadow Yoga approach to preparing for a traditional Yoga Asana practice. The warmup is a set series of gentle joint freeing exercises practiced in a standing position (modifications for seated variations will be given as well) followed by preparatory stances and movement sequences called Preludes (Bala Krama, Stepping into Strength; Chaya Yoddha Sanchalanum, Churning the Shadow; Kartikeya Mandalam, Garland of Light). The warmup can serve as a standalone practice or as a warmup for more strenuous activities like running or weight lifting.
